Halle is amazing! My youngest daughter purchased a 5 month old puppy, named Norman, for herself. Norman arrived and turned out to be a very anxious dog with some aggression issues. We boarded Norman with Halle for 4 weeks of intensive obedience training as well as socialization with other people. Norman, now 3 years old and 94 pounds, is great with our family and incredibly responsive to commands. Norman is also comfortable with our friends who come over to our house, saying hello, giving them his paw, and lying down at their feet. We realized that Norman is “wired a little differently” and will never be the socialite of our dogs, but we can now take him to public places and go hiking (his favorite!) and he does great! Thank you Halle for your insightfulness to dog behavior, your patience and understanding with dogs regardless of temperament, and for also training us humans to be better dog owners!

After my service dog, Koba, was attacked several times, Halle was able to work with him to become more comfortable and less fearful around people and dogs he does not know. Halle did an amazing job with him and now he is back to working at his full capacity. I’m ecstatic that Halle is now training my new service dog, Juno, who will start working with me when Koba retires in 2021.

Halle Lewis exceeded my expectations for a dog trainer in every conceivable way. I did quite a bit of research before deciding on Halle, and chose to work with her over others from a personal recommendation from a friend. From day one, I was enormously impressed by her professionalism, friendliness, and aptitude for working with dogs. Over the course of 10 sessions, she taught me how to connect with and train my 1 year-old cattle dog more than I imagined would be possible. There’s no doubt in my mind that Halle has an incredibly unique ability to work with dogs, and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for a dog trainer. She was a pleasure to work with, and I’ve stayed in touch with her regarding any issues or questions I’ve had since we finished our formal training.
